Age Limit as on 16-April-2016:
- Maximum 32 Years For Scientist & 37 Years For Senior Scientist.
- Age Relaxation applicable : 5 Years For SC/ST Candidates & 3 years for OBC Candidates
Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay Rs. 100/- in shape of demand draft drawn in the name of Director, NAL & payable in Bengaluru. There is no fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ regular employees of CSIR candidates.
Education Qualification : M.E./M.Tech in relevant discipline. OR Ph D in in relevant discipline.
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 /- + GP Rs.6600/- for Scientist/ Rs.7600/- for Senior Scientist

National Aerospace limited was started in the year 1959 at Delhi. It was established by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. The headquarters is located at Delhi which was later moved Bangalore in the year 1960. National Aerospace Limited is the 2nd largest aerospace after Hindustan Aeronautics.

On 17th November 1993, the maiden flight of CSIR-NAL which was a light trainer aircraft called as HANSA took place, certified by DGCA under JAR-VLA certification. This aircraft is 2 seated. On 29th May 2004 multirole light transport aircraft took place called as NAL SARAS. It is the 1st civilian aircraft developed in India. NAL NM5 is a 5 seated general aviation aircrafts. It is the country’s 1st Public- Private Partnership for the growth of civil transport aircrafts.
